Innovative Spray Materials for Historical Building Preservation
Historical buildings can be protected using spray techniques. Dr. Niroumand mentioned this approach at conference in Egypt. He stated that this method represents a new step in the protection of historical buildings in various countries. He also explained that he, along with his colleagues and research team, has developed new techniques and materials that enable the protection of historical buildings through spray applications. These spray materials are currently available, and the team is ready to begin collaborations with countries and organizations worldwide.
Transition from Traditional to Modern Techniques in Soil Stabilization
At this moment, the world needs to adopt new techniques for soil stabilization and soil improvement. According to Dr. Niroumand’s speech at the conference in Portugal, he emphasized the importance of shifting from traditional methods to modern techniques in soil stabilization and soil improvement. His presentation focused on new achievements in modern soil stabilization and soil improvement techniques developed by him and his research team.
Mitigating Sinkholes: Innovations and the Importance of Institutional Support
Dr. Niroumand mentioned that his team has developed new techniques that can help decrease the rate of sinkholes, but their effectiveness depends on the support of governments and relevant organizations willing to implement them in field tests. He shared this news during his keynote speech at an international conference in Turkey.
The Sociological Impacts of Land Subsidence on World
The importance of the sociological aspects of new challenges and crises, such as land subsidence, in the world, especially in developing countries, was emphasized by Dr. Niroumand in Europe. He noted that land subsidence is not only a national crisis, as in the case of Iran, but also an international crisis affecting historical buildings and world heritage, since it has the potential to cause widespread destruction in the future. Heritage and historical buildings represent the history of all countries and of humanity as a whole. If they are damaged in any country, part of the shared history of the world is lost. Based on this, Dr. Niroumand emphasized that land subsidence is an international crisis for historical buildings and cultural heritage, and that it requires international action.
